actually i think he was a blacksmith, yep just checked the 81 census, definately a blacksmith. thats great. so that one more bit filled in. if you come accross him in 51, 71 or 91 let me know. regards lou

hi cheryl im struggling to find some one on several census', can you try for me? thomas galsworthy born 1835 crediton devon. i have him in 1841 with his parents, in 1881 as a widow and in 1901 although name mistranscribed as galsworkey. in 41 he was living in st colomb in cornwall, in 1901 he was in hull. he was a widow by 1881 so i have no record of his marraige. there is another thomas galsworkey b 1838 in northam devon but this is his cousin. hope you can help! lou

Hi Cheryl Thanks for your kind offer.Could you find & follow through the census for the TAYLOR family. Someone has sent me information but didnt have their relationships (in later census). To begin with- 1841 census at St Andrew Plymouth,Devon George Taylor 50 occ-Sawyer Elizabeth 50 Elizabeth 15 George 15 Daniel 13 Jane Good 23 John Good 3 days Then in 1851 Claremont St St Andrew,Plymouth Do you think this is same family? (Most probably as in later census 1881 Jane Good & William Taylor are living here but again she sent no relationship;question-was this her brother?) George Taylor married 63 superannuated lab William unm 25 painter George unm 25 labourer Jane Good 32 (plus her children; does it say relationship to head of house?) This person send other census information but didnt say any relationships. Will it help to send it all to you? Thanks Kerri
