Pen, I just don't know...... I remember my Nan and to think she may of had a child before she was maried doesn't seem like her at all !! I will go back and ask Dad if the F means anything to him and see what he thinks of the idea of this possible birth. I really appreciated all of the help on this and am glad that I know I didn't just miss him. A BIG THANK YOU to you all Esta x

Chrissie, Although I've learnt not to rule anything out in this 'game'....I really don't think so....His mother was only 18 when she married and then she had her children (as far as we know)........That said I did check 1930/31 at one point just to make sure !!! Esta

Had to pop back because I just had a thought. Could he have been registered in the mothers name, before they were married?

Linda / Chrissie / Pen, A big Thank- you for all your help - I really appreciate it. I just don't know where he could be hiding !!....It's good to know that maybe I didn't miss him after all. And I was doing so well with my BMD look-ups. Out of nearly 20 births I was looking for it's only George and an aunt of my Dad's I couldn't find ( Both of who I know excisted as my dad remembers them !! )...... Esta

Checked Jan-March 1936 but then realised that Harold was born in Oct-Dec, so the other quarters are impossible. I checked and Harold was there. Sorry, I have to go. Will try and check later to see how it's going and for any stray quarters. Chrissie

...Definatly before 1941.......but Dad not sure who was oldest between Dorothy / George...so he could have been born before 1933.... ** George was his first name** and Dad is certain he was born Llanelly (WALES)

Penelope Report 10 Apr 2006 20:53

Hi Chrissie, I have to pop off soon - would you check 1936 for all Morris's, working on the basis that George was a middle name. cheers xxxx
