I wonder where Edward got to in the 1871 census. he had his first child in 1873 so he could have been married then. He married a Mary Ann Frost. Anyway you've been a great help Lady Liberty, thanks ever so much it's greatly appreciated :-) Lorraine |

They're definately all the same family. On my g grandparents marriage certificate it says Edward is a shoemaker |
