Hi Lesley, I have lost a relly in 1851+1861. Michael MANSER DOB 1826 Michael Manser was born in 1826 in Rotherfield, Sussex. He is on the 1871 census with his wife Caroline born 1825, and a baby called Percy (transcibed as Perry) Collins, a nurse child. He was living at Burham, Somerset. In 1881 he has moved to Frome Somerset with Caroline. This time their surname is trancribed as Mansor, and they have got rid of Percy, and now have another child boarded with them, Annie Durham transcribed Derham. He was some sort of Drill Instructor with the Somerset Volunteers. If you could find him or Caroline in the early census' it would be great. Gill Harrison

Hi Lesley Thanks very much for info on Dalligan 1901. If you have time please go back to other censuses as on marriage certificate of Lawrence Dalligan c1863 and Elizabeth Ann Roberts it says father Henry Dalligan. Cannot go any further back at moment on Dalligan family. I have name of Elizabeth Roberts' father William Roberts on marriage certificate and that is as far as I can go. Thanks Sandra

Hi Lesley, thanks for the info, there isn't a marriage as after years of searching to no avail, it would seem that WHP & ES never married, even though on my grandfather's birth cert in 1905 she is listed as Plant (formerly Simmonette) I think when WHP registered his sons' birth he did that to keep her respect & standing. She did marry in 1915 to a William Rodgers and gave her condition as 'Spinster'!! Did you manage to chk out the 1901 census for any info, as this is the only time I can feasibly 'place' his anywehre? best regards, Suzanne.
