When would they have married ? What census have you got them on together ? Did they have children ? if so, when was the first child born ? Have you looked on FreeBMD and/or Ancestry Marriage Indexes ? BOTH free to search. *Have checked the 1851 & 1861 , can't seem to find him. 1871: This them ?? No marriage on FreeBMD ... so you need to look at the FREE index on Ancestry ... http://www.ancestry(.)co.uk/search/db.aspx?dbid=8965 .. remove () It will take you straight to marriage indexes.
