Find Ancestors

I hope someone can help me with this one please. I have an ancestor, Louisa WINFIELD, found with her mother Ann WINFIELD, on the 1871 Census. They are living in William Street, Notting Hill and Louisa is said to be 17 years old and born in Acton. However, in the 1861 Census, when she should be alive and 7 years old, she doesn't appear with the family, nor anywhere else. Can anyone find her please - either before or after? ***Just added a message asking for specific lookups Thanks so much!

Hello, No I don't have her birth details because I haven't been able to find them. I have her father's birth certificate though. Arthur was born in Whepstead, Suffolk in 1829. He married his second wife Ellen Ann Burroughs in 1829 in London. He died in 1867 in Kensington.

Thanks for looking, all. I have the parents' marriage certificate, too. Its really HER, Louisa, who remains unfound. I was hoping to find her, later married and then offspring....Anymore suggestions?

I see what you mean, but perhaps the 1871 gave the wrong age? If not why isn't she with them in 1861, either under the name Winfield or her mother's name, Burroughs?

Was Arthur a bachelor when he married Ann? Reg

Jane the only Louisa Winfield's birth I can find is this one.... Births Sep 1860 WINFIELD Louisa Brentford 3a 41 I dont know where she is in 1861 but the 1871 could be wrong and she could be 11 instead of 17. Brentford covers Acton. Georgina.

I've just scrolled through all Louisa's born 1854 in Middlesex to spot which ones arent with parents i.e. nieces, granddaughters, pupils etc checking the original images for mistranscription And there's none that fit your louisa
