hi little snowflake aileen here, thankyou so much for using your time to look up my grandparents marriage. its my greatgrandmothers surname thats interesting, could hardly make it out on my grandmothers birth certificate, contacted them and they said it was mccanny. thanks again aileen

Helllo Kate, If you have time can you look for a marriage in about 1842-43 for Chistopher Buchanan and Jean Blacklock possibly in Dumfries. From English census records he was born in Dumfries abt 1821, I hav'nt been able to trace their birth or marriages on the Scotland People site . Thanks, Doreen.
