Hi Kate Thank you for your kind offer. I wonder if you would be able to look up the marriage of Malcom McNee(McNie) and Catherine Ferguson.Their first child that I can find was born in April 1792 in Balquhidder and then subsequent children in Kincardine . Catherine's name is spelt a no of ways as is Malcom.I am trying to go from these two backwards but am having trouble finding any info as I dont have either of their births so anything you can find would be great. I have narrowed their deaths down to between the birth of their last child in January 1800 to 1855 when the records are on Scotlands People so if you have time if you could see if you could find their deaths in Kincardine (supposition) it might shed light on everything else ! Thank you for this offer If you could find me any details on James Hastie born c 1883 Edinburgh parents James Hastie and Mary Hedderwick(mind he did put himself down as adopted on fathers death cert) mother was murdered 1912 in Potterrow Edinburgh. Married Grace Bell Wright who died 1931 Cannogate Edinburgh and can find no trace of him after this dont know if he had any children. Thanks again Maureen

Hi Kate I wonder if you could look up a birth/paptism for a Daniel Bruce McCallum born c1805, the son of Donald McCallum and ? Blair, of Gallowgate Glasgow. Daniel was deported to Australia in 1828 for theft. Also one more if you have time the marriage of a Lachlan ROSS and Janet MATHISON (Matheson) most likely in Sutherland Scourie Parish c 1830.
