In answer to the question below - She has 2 older Brothers known as Terrence and Anthony - Terry was born in 1944 or around that time and Anthony was born in the 1950's and then she had a sister called Jeanette who was a few years younger than Terry. Both Jeanette and terry are both now sadly deceased. Does your Mum have older brothers/sisters? Might helpt suggest a more exact wedding date.

Hi Rachel! :-) So the parents COULD have married around about 1944 ish. Have you managed to find the time to look on Ancestry at the Marriage indexes ? I KNOW you have been busy, communicating with me .... !!! Elaine ;-)

In response - not yet lol.... I dont know whether or not the parents married if you mean my Nanna's parents, my mum mentioned in conversation that to her knowledge they were unmarried. She is off to seek out her birth certificate this week to hopefully find the original or get a copy of it... Hi Rachel! :-) So the parents COULD have married around about 1944 ish. Sheila, I think you have the correct spelling of the middle name, ive spoken with my mum and she assures me it is spelt the way you have written it... Hi Racheal, looking at the marriages for Grimsby I came across this.... Lily Trenawath Fairfield, married in 1935 daughter of Edward. sounds so much like your nans middle name,I wondered if it could be the same, just spelt different. Sheila.
