Hi Reg Sorry don't have the 1861 , the census that i had were after they had married 1881 and 1891,wnen they stated ages and place of birth,which of course tie up with what i have posted . I am basically just after the Registration District as i can look up at the moment the Birth records but don't recognise the Districts given. Thank you Regards Mike

You say they were living in 'Lowestoft district' Was that where they were born? From genuki............... Mutford Created 1st July 1837. Sub-districts : Belton; Gorleston; Lessingland; Lowestoft; Oulton Broad GRO volumes : XIII (1837-51); 4a (1852-1930). Ashby (1837-91), Barnby, Belton, Blundeston, Bradwell, Burgh Castle, Carlton Colville, Corton, Flixton, Fritton, Gisleham, Gorleston (1837-89), Gunton, Herringfleet (1837-91), Hopton, Kessingland, Kirkley, Lound (1837-91), Lowestoft, Mutford, Oulton, Oulton Broad, Pakefield, Rushmere, Somerlyton (1837-91). I am trying to obtain the the reference numbers of Samuel Brown Born 3 jan 1856 and Anna Elizabeth Green born 5 July 1852 both living in the Lowestoft area,can anybody please tell me the registration district that they should be registered under. Any help gratefully appreciated Regards Mike
