Have you got Birth Certs for ANY of the children ? How do you know the parents didn't marry please ? Have you looked on FreeBMD for any of the Births of the children ? Did the children have the surname Watson or McLeod ? Elaine ;-)

James william Watson...unsure of birth year but around 1867 in Bow, Poplar or Hackney Emma Jessie McLeod b1867 in Bow, Poplar or Hackney. They were not married but lived together as man and wife. I know they had children by the names of Florence b1904-London Alice Rosina b1901-London Edith and Liz not sure of birth years
