Thank you Claire, I had a feeling that Benjamin was no longer with them but Ann looks good. Unfortunately Claire does not show in IGI but 2 census make her real! Frances

I think this could be Benjamin and Ann's marriage from the IGI: BENJAMIN ASHTON Pedigree Male Family -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Event(s): Birth: Christening: Death: Burial: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marriages: Spouse: ANN WHITE Family Marriage: 01 AUG 1812 Sheffield Cathedral, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England I notice there is a White surnamed person with the Ashton's on the 41 census, probably a sister of Ann. Regards Claire
