Just to complicate things a little more there is a Georgeanna Chandler who is a widow with a 5 year old son in 1861... I'm affraid I have broken my nose of this brickwall chaps - all I have found is marriage cert of Peter Campbell 1864 London from there came up with nothing, so next step Scotland. Lin |

This is from Lin's other thread, I couldn't find them on the census's maybe someone else can...... 'I have found my GGG Grandfathers birth cert Peter McGregor Cambell b 1862 Camden Town - parents Peter Cambell & Georgiana Campbell nee Chantler. I found Peter & Georgiana's marriage cert and it states Peter's father was Archibald Campbell Police Inspector. Where do I go from here having no other info on dates and area? Lin' Georgina. |

On Scotlandspeople.gov.uk there are 7 Peter Campbells born between 1833 and 1840 who had a parent name Archibald. 2 in 1837 itself. Sorry not rich enough to use my credits to check them for you! :) Jellyhead |

Unfortunately I have little info as I have been unable to find the one birth cert I need. Looking for a Peter Campbell b abt 1837. His father, going by the marriage cert, was Archibald Campbell - Police Inspector. Peter was married in London but presume born in Scotland Many thanks Linda |
