This for 1871 Forence is with grandparents already Fred Nurse abt 1859 Brightlingsea, Middlesex, England Son Brightlingsea Essex Alice Ruffell abt 1856 Brightlingsea, Middlesex, England Daughter Brightlingsea Essex Henry Ruffell abt 1864 Brightlingsea, Middlesex, England Son Brightlingsea Essex Mary A Ruffell abt 1819 Brightlingsea, Middlesex, England Wife Brightlingsea Essex Florry Tiffin abt 1868 Brightlingsea, Middlesex, England Granddaughter Brightlingsea Essex Note - we have a NURSE, son of Mary Ruffell ( Husband away - a mariner)

trying to see if Henry Ruffell married a Mary Nurse - if you get my drift Can't see that he married a Nurse or Tiffin - that's that idea blown out of the water!! (mariner - get it - sorry)

Sorry - do you understand where Ruffel comes into things or am i being REALLY thick?? looked back at 1861 her mother (pamela's) WAS called Mary and Born Clacton

The whole flippin lot, christine! Florence , so Peter says, is with her Grandparents in 1881 How can they NOT be either NURSE = Mat G/parents or TIFFIN = Pat G/Parents What I mean is - 'where does Ruffel ' come into things?.... ERmmmmmm.....

Okay - i can Faff about then on your thread! 1861 - tucked up at home with mum (Pamelar is ...) 1871 should be with MR William Tiffin- where is he from? FINGRINGHOE..he's a bit old (1835!!)AND he already has a wife Lets hope it was his son she married - 1861 census Talking to my self......

It's a start though (lol). I'm beginning to doubt my search technique. Have tracked Florence in 1901 - she is married to Fred Hall and is in Brightlingsea. Have to go into a meeting for the next three hours (am in New Zealand) so don't expect instant responsesPeter

found mother Aldous 1901 - thats no more use than ornament thought!! Albert Aldous appears to have a wife called May!

Tiffin children born where? (Pamela and thinggy!) assume esex but dont like to assume ANYTHING!! which Pamela was the second marraige , mother or daughter?

Spelling is as found by looking at 1837 on line!! Pamella Nurse b 1850 Brightlingsea, Essex Married William Tiffin June Q 1868 Florence Tiffin b 1869 Pamler Mary Tiffin b 1872 1881 Census – Florence is with her grandparents – can’t find the other three. 1893 Pamela Mary Tiffin marries either Albert James Aldous or John Gage Smith (Tendring dist) 1901 Cant find either Pamela Aldous or Pamela Smith, nor can I find Pamella (Nurse) Tiffin 1910 Pamela Tiffin dies Tendring Aged 00 (if it was 60 it would fit) Can anyone locate this lot, either in 1891 or have I missed something in 1881/1901? Peter
