Hi All, Have just heard from Ancestry....their words.. They are working to complete the posting of the 1851 U.K Census, but as yet no official release date as been scheduled. Regards Vera

Hi, everyone. Just seen that www(.)thegenealogist(.)co(.)uk have been adding to their indexes, they have yorkshire, lancashire and london 1851's.......... .......anyone got one of the subscription packages??????? Am thinking about it...I want the 1851's now...... Any advise from your lovely ppl????????

When you go in to anc. go to the side where it says more records under census it says more click there scroll down you will find a scroll down list it is on there. IOt is working for OK me at the moment Germaine x

Sounds selfish I know, but I'm so glad I haven't subscribed yet ... I only really NEED/WANT 1851 Devonshire !! But I can't wait to start doing some searches for others as well ... I just love ' the chase' ... I love doing the searching ! I wait with baited breath ! Elaine :-)

Hi Vera I saw it yesterday too but got an Error when I clicked on it. Under the 1861 said 1851 england and 1851 Wales. Not sure what happened to it but it was there. Maureen

Elaine Don't worry. If its not on till you get your credit card, you've lost nothing. If it is on before you get your credit card, then you have a chance to read everyone's moans about how it isn't 100% coverage and is badly transcribed etc before you get to do your searches. nell

Im getting all tingly and excited now, hope its not a let down. I am due to resub in October but I worked out if I sub now at the offer, it will save me about £20 over the year, So I think Ill do that.

I've just been on and can only see the 1851 census sample. I'm hoping (fingers crossed) that the whole 1851 census will be on! I'm getting very excited now! Gem:)))
