hi ive just got a birth cert for a relie,and found a maiden name ive been waiting for. the trouble is i cant find the marrige of the father ive been on free bmd and found a few possible's for the mother the nearest one has no one else on with her and cant find them on 1837 either can anyone help???? im looking for mary bryson tynemouth dec 1857 vol 10b page 310 to a possible nicholas mainger if any one can help i'd be very thankful

the fathers name was nicholas mainger and he was on the birth cert the other nicholas mainger was married to mary ann mills these are not who im looking for already maid that mistake once. just wonderd if anyone had better access to what i was looking for

i found a mary bryson on sept 1848 vol 24 page 183 but no nicholasmainger

I've looked at marriages on 1837online for 1851, 1852 and 1853 and not found a Nicholas Mainger. Kath. x

yes victor thats the familyfrom 1861 on 1851 i have a jane braison visiting ,tried both names now and still cant find a marridge

my nicholas mainger was a merchant seaman and lived at 20 church rd/way tynemouth in 1861 and 1851 40 bedford street north shields tynemouth

Sorry to keep on, know i sound dense, but where did you get the refs for Tynemouth Dec 1857 from? I take it your relative's birth cert states that father is Nicholas Mainger, mother Mary Mainger, formerly Bryson Is Nicholas married on 1851 census?

He's not there at all. Only think I can suggest, is look through all the images from 1851-1861 to see if you can fins a marriage for him.
