How do you know they are the same person? Sarah

There are too many inconsistancies for them to be the same people, surely. Have you looked on the 1901 census? You might find they are two different people.

You are correct Janet as my great mother was Eleanor Poulter born Eleanor Warner (Woner on the birth certificate) of Henry and Mary Ann Warner. I don't know what happened to Henry but Mary Ann married Charles James Poulter, who was a sugar boiler and then a foreman at Manbre Saccharine Works at Fulham. Eleanor became Eleanor Poulter and married Alfred Skevington. Would love to compare notes on the family.

Hannah it's 12 years since Janet posted, and there are zero posts to her name so she may no longer be a member, however try clicking on her name to send a message, if she still has the same email address she should receive notification.

A considerate move especially as the thread will be picked up if anyone 'googles' the name.

As a point of interest, a non-paying member can access & read messages sent to them by a paying one and reply. They can't instigate them.

Whether Janet will ever realise you've sent her a message depends on a number of factors, one being that she still uses the same linked email address and can access it. As you no doubt know, unread messages have an envelope icon next to them when you look in your GR Sent Messages tab. That disappears when its been accessed.
