Carrol Give us all the information you have, approx birth year and where born on both people will be needed for us to try to find them. As you can see we are all looking in any era and just clutching at straw's. You must have more information than you have given.

Carol, Are you trying to do your Family Tree OR are you trying to trace folks who may have known them ? IF you are doing your Family Tree, Then you need to apply for the Birth Certificate of the lady named above. The Numbers given are what we call the reference numbers ... you need these to apply for the certificate. The birth certificate will give you both her Mum & Dad's names ... which means we can try and trace your famnily further back for you, stating with the 1901 Census. Do you have any idea when your Grandad was born ? or when he died please ? ... how old was he when he died. Where did they live ? We can't help you much more if we don't have the above information, as much as we would like to pet. Dancer x

What about your grandad? When was he born roughly? For 1920 you'll need to look at 1837online.com for the birth certificate reference because it's too late to be on any of the free sites.

Given that you haven't given even rough dates, this might be your grandmother's birth reference, you'll have to buy the certificate for more details. Do you have your grandparents marriage certificate? That would also help you in finding out more about their ancestry.
