Hi Denise, I have been on the free ancestry site and found someone that you maybe able to help me with. I am looking for Elijah SHELL born around 1810 in Leigh, Essex. I know a bit about him through the censuses etc. I am hoping his parents are John and Eliz. The particular Elijah Shell I found is right near the bottom of the page and the records say Essex PALLOTS BAPTISM INDEX. Not sure if you can access this Index. Any help much appreciated. |

Elizabeth I had another look at the image - the census administrator has conveniently put a line right over the t or k, but I think you maybe right it is boot maker. Denise |
