Hi Sally, Could you please see if you can find: William TOWNSEND, born c.1814 in Devonport, Plymouth, Devon. I would expect to find him in Devonport with his wife, Susan, and possibly one child, Charlotte, born c.1848. Also, I have a Mary MARLER who was born in 1842 just over the river in Torpoint, Cornwall. In 1859 she married in Devonport and I'm just wondering if she & her family were in Devonport in '51?
