Hi I looked at your message as I descend from Edwards of Mile End and other East End. HOWEVER Yours does not sound like any of my Edwards. BUT to reply Stepney is in London NOT middlesex. maybe that will help you.

Hello all I was hoping someone might be able to give me some fresh ideas regarding my Samuel Edwards b 1820 Rotherhithe shipwright Lucy M Edwards b 1819 St Botolph wife George H Edwards b 1849 Stepney Arthur J Edwards b 1851 Stepney They can not be found in the 1851 census yet, I have them in the 1861-1901 census's and their address changes at ever census so I have no luck in looking for their address from 1861 in the 1851 census. They are not living at the same place. I know that in 1851 Arthur J was born in Stepney which I think is in Middlesex. The next child Walter N was born in 1853 in Ratcliff. I have run out of ideas now getting desperate here. Hoping someone can throw some ideas my way. Many thanks Trudi
