Bloomin' hell, when I last looked there were only 16 requests! These are going to take me some while to go through as I can only visit during my lunch hour and after work when they are open until 7pm, but I will do my best to get through them all during the course of the next few days. Sorry I've not replied yet but I'm not back to work until tomorrow! max xx

Hello Max You're a star!! Hope you had a good break from work - all these look-ups are going to keep you busy. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we really appreciate you giving up your free time to help out. No rush for my look up mate- just as and when if possible. Take care. If you're ever in Wiltshire there's a sticky bun and a hot cuppa waiting for you. Debs

HI Max Thank you for your kind offer (esp as Westminster have old fashioned microfilm readers!!!!!) I have found the marriage of my Elizabeth Lees and William Fitch, but haven't been able to get to Westminster for a while to look for the birth of Elizabeth (William was born in Suffolk..so another place to visit for me!!!) If you would be so kind, please look for the birth of Elizabeth Lees.... born about 1804. She got married on 20/6/1824 in St Martin in the Fields. However, their children were christened at St Anne's so I'm not sure where her baptism would be. Unfortunatley, I can't tell you what is said on the 1841 census, as it is annoyingly missing , but the marriage address was 42 Princes Street (now Wardour Street) . She died in 1843 (aged 39), so it looks like I will never have a census for her, unless the records office somehow find the missing census. Many thanks Sarah

Hi Max, Thanks for the kind offer! I am looking for any info on William King. He was a hernia specialist(!) on Harley St, he was born c1854 in USA, he came to England and married an Elizabeth / Esther, who was born in Lowestoft. I dont know her maiden name. He is featured on the 1891 census, living at Calthorpe St(?) in London with Elizabeth and their daughter Irene, they went on to have another daughter Ida born 1894. Elizabeth / Esther remarried and had another child by 1896 so I am imagining he died 1894/1895. I would really appreciate any help you could offer! Sorry Ive gone on a bit!!! Juliana x

Hi Max, Thank you for the kind offer. Do you think you could look for the birth of Mary Elizabeth Burch(birch) born 8/3/1852 St. George, Hanover Square. I would like to know what her mothers name is as the birth certificate its not clear. Also if you come across any Giachardi births circa 1849-1855 probably St.James Westminster I would be very grateful. No rush. Thank you Maxine

I feel I should let you all know that Max has not been too well of late so if you have not had a reply to your request for a look-up that is the reason. Max is a lovely lady who is always willing to help where she can so please be patient. I'm sure she will get back to this as soon as she is able. Kathleen
