Hi Sue, Does your disks cover Bradfield at all? yes, its those Booth's again, lol. If so, would you be able to look for a marriage of Joseph Booth to a Martha, guessing it would be around the late 1700's early 1800's Thank you, Claire

Dear Sue, Due to your excellent information, I now have confirmation of my earliest known relatives Richard and George. Ottewell I was unaware of!! and this creates yet another source of research. Although I was born in Harrogate and know Burton Leonard, Bilton Riply, Hamsthwaite, I had noted Farnham as being in East Yorks and had not persued any research for this village. However now you have also given me yet another line of research. If it is not too much trouble and you have the time, if you could send the Farnham Dearlove information and I will try to tye them in with my known family and the Farnham Dearloves I already have. You have made me very excited in this quest. Thank you enourmously!! Alan

Dear Sue Do the records cover Ripley, Ripon and Hampsthwaite? Im particularly looking for Dearloves in these areas before 1600. By the way there are at least three variants: Dearlove, Dearelove and Deerlove. Look forward to your reply. Regards Alan

Hi Sue Re: Riddlesden/Riddlesdin/Ridlesden ... is it possible for you to mail me info for all the ones you've found, as they're all in the right areas? I know that's a dreadful cheek, but I would really appreciate it - have hit a brick wall and I think these might provide the solution. One particular name I'm looking for is Horatio Riddlesden (or Riddlesdin) born c. 1832 in Ossett. He is my g-g-grandfather and I'm stuck at him - can't find his parents or if he had any siblings. Our name is unusual enough that all people of same surname will be related somehow - I'm trying to see if I can find the link between my Halifax family and the bulk of the family in Dewsbury - Horatio is probably the link! My email address is su_rochester at yah oo (d) ot (c) om - that's an underscore between su and rochester, and other bits need putting into proper format! By the way, best variant I've found is Griddlebone!!!! S:>
