Yvonne come out of Kingston going towards Richmond. Past the new Sainsburys and keep going - its on the right handside before you get to Tiffin Girls. You need to turn in the gate opposite the shut down petrol station. the sign at the front is for the Primary School and "North Kingston Centre". Th ehistory room is in NKC.

Yvonne Its on the Richmond Road, between Kingston and Ham. Tell me where you are and I can tell you how to get around the one way system up to it. The majority of stuff they have is specific to Kingston but its a good place to go for a rummage as they have other bits too and the people there are very helpful Zoe

Hi Chris, The Local History Room is at the North Kingston Centre, Richmond Road. It is where Tiffin Girls School used to be, and next door to where the current Tiffin Girls School is. Must pay it a visit myself sometime, as its my old school! It has a webpage on the RBK website - http://www.kingston*gov*uk/leisure/museums/local_history_and_archives.htm Carole

Zoe, Thank you so much for the information you found on 'Plumb'. They are all mine - a few I knew about, a couple I suspected and the rest new!! This is a great birthday present for me. Can you hear the sound of bricks falling as another wall goes down! Once again, many thanks. I only hope you found what you were looking for. Regards Yve
