I don't have any unwanted certifcates (at least I hope not, otherwise I'm barking up someone else's tree entirely!) but I'm willing to share the details of the ones I've got. As well as name searches, I'd like to propose somehow narrowing it down by date, or at least event. If it takes off, there could be hundreds of results for 'Smith' when all someone wants is a birth.

I agree, great idea, if searchable by name etc. I haveloads of images, and has been stated above, as they're Scottish, you get three items on each Scottish image, so for every one of the images of hundreds of BMD certs I have for my own folk, I have two others which might benefit someone else. One at a time is sensible though, as it will take me hours to load all the info and I can add them at my leisure! Regards Ellen.

Pat I have at least 3 birth certs that I would like to put up for adoption. I've held on to them long enough to know that they aren't going to fit into the puzzle. Good Idea - hope it happens soon. Much happiness Debi
