Thanks for looking anyway, Debbie, my ancestors spent some years in Scotland and then went to Manchester and John had died before 1881 Census, so I guess it's back to the drawing board. Cheers

Hello, I wonder if you could look for a McKerrow family in Lockerbie on the 1901 census. mainly Barbara b1880 and Margaret b 1878 both born Hoddam but both died in Lockerbie. I was wondering what they were doing in Lockerbie as their parents stayed in Scotland but 2 brothers emigrated to Australia. Thanks Gloria

Debbie - thanks for the kind offer. Looking for Walterina/Waterena Mowatt b1887 Married Malcolm Mcfiggins June 1910 in Lanark Glasgow. They possibly had a daughter called Waterena in Glasgow 1917. Not too sure of the spelling, her parents were called Walter and Catherine so I guess its a made up name!! Grateful for any help or any info on Mcfiggins Clan from Glasgow. Clare

Hi Kathryn, Yes I did know that, that's why I'm trying to use them up! lol I don't have much need for Scotland, at the moment, and I am fed up of having to pay another £6 every time I want to use the credits I've already paid for, then that time runs out and another £6 and................ad infinitum!!!! Hi Linda, Nothing between those dates, in any area. Was it definitely in those 10yrs? Can try a wider range if you're not sure. Debbie

Deborah

Hi Katherine, Sorry, but births are only included to 1903. Debbie

Deborah

Deborah Report 18 Nov 2004 16:53

Hi Julie, There are no birth registered for John Everitt McQueen between 1860 & 1870. However there are 85 registered simply as John McQueen, just between 1864 & 1866! Do you know which district of Scotland he was from, this would help narrow it down a bit? Debbie
