Hi Tracy, Thanks for your kind offer - I hope your computer is feeling better :) Could you possibly lookup the following for me in Cold Cotes (it only has one street!) in the parish of Ingleton, West Riding (now North Yorkshire). Thomas Faraday (or Farraday, Fereday, Farady etc) born c.1827 in either Ingleton, Bentham or Clapham. At his marriage in 1870 he was listed as a yeoman; by 1881 he was a farmer of 50 acres. Margaret Faraday, his wife, born c. 1849 in Bentham, or Tatham or Wray in Lancashire (all neighbouring villages). Christopher Waller Faraday (sometimes shown as just Waller or Walter), their son, born 1870 in Cold Cotes, Ingleton. Many thanks, Hannah

Hi Tracy, following up on my previous request for details on two families in Bingley, I have now obtained the Surname Index from the Bradford Family History Society and it looks as though my Vanham family have not reached Bingley by April 1871, but there is a Birch family in the right area. The reference is 4311:52. Could you have a look for me and tell me the details please? Many thanks, Yvonne
