Andrea Please could you try to find Agnes Fairbairn (nee Frater or Fratter) in the 1871 census. She was married to fisherman Robert in the '61 in Dunbar, and a widow living with son David in the '81 in Tranent, but haven't been able to trace her in the one in between and find whether her husband was alive or dead at that time. I AM TRYING TO FIND ANYTHING EARLIER I.E PARENTS DETAILS & ALSO DID THEY MOVE BACK TO SCOTLAND AS THEY DISAPPEAR AFTER 1881. Liz There are only two births for Ctherine McNeils and neither have a mother called Lydia. There are 9 births for Adam Andersons between Dec 1835 and Jun 1837 but I really need a clue to the area. There are no Adam Andersons in your age range on the 1891 census but there are 14 Catherine Anderson's but, again, I would need an area to search further as viewing the images is expensive so would quickly use up my credits. Hi John Sorry, there are no Lionel Fergusons births (1769-1775) or marriages (1786-1826) listed. Anthony There is one Marion McNiel birth dated 22 June 1823 in orbals GROS 644/02 004*, the daughter of Daniel McNiel and Agnes McCallum. I also tried the spelling McNeil but there were none of those but the above may be a possibility. There are lots of Robert Browns I would need a location otherwise I don't have sufficient credits. Jackie Don't know whether I'm doing something wrong but there is no record for Daniel Mallock. There are two for Agnes Henry but not for a marriage to anyone called Daniel. Unfortunately I don't know how complete the site is. Sorry Andrea

I know that her birth is to recent but i'm looking for her marriage which i believe to be before 1968 when she moved to Perth, Australia. Sorry-don't know husbands name.
