Hi Barbara Many thanks for the info re wedding of Clarke & Knott. I am trying to tie them into my great grandfather - Edward Knott Clark but it is proving very difficult. Thanks for the time you spent - is it easy to access the parish records or very time consuming? I ask because I think I will have ot make the effort to travel to Lincoln from Scarboro to have a look! Many thanks Jenny

Hi Barbara, Thank you very much for looking. I shall have to wait for Ancestry to get Lincolnshire on their site for the 1871 census. Rose

Thanks Barbara! I'm afraid old Chrissie had trouble with her name - she was Christaney in 1841.

John I didn't find the marriage of William & Sussanah but found their Banns These were read at Luddington church on 28/11/1771 and 5&12/12/1773. Because of the age it was quite difficult to read but here goes you might make sense of it William Fletcher of Luddinton Parish and Sussanah ?Moutston? from ?Aslingfleet? Parish. Hope you can decifer. It looks like the marriage may have taken place at Sussanah's Parish. I'm afraid I didn't get chance to look up the baptism but I can check next time (although it won't be for another 2 weeks) if you like? Barbara P.S A kind member of our clan has suggested Aslingfleet could be Adlingfleet as it is near Luddington B

Jennifer Found the marriage of Edward & Sarah on 23/1/1810 at Wrawby as you said. Edward was from i think Broughton and Sarah from Wrawby. Witnesses Thomas Clarke and Ben? Malton? Because it was pre 1837 it doesn't give you ages, occupations or parent's names. sorry couldn't find any children born at Wrawby. Barbara

Cherie Thomas North son of Joseph and Sarah North bpt 12/10/1844 at Foston. The other request i didn't complete because it was too time consuming as I explained in my email not that it was too complicated-that would be a challenge. Best Wishes Barbara

I will need to request the actual Parish Record next time i go if you don't find it in the meantime. I also looked for the marriage of willaim and Elizabeth in Leverton, sorry no record of their marriage between the dates you gave me. Best Wishes Barbara
