Terease, you are in luck. I am more than willing to look up the death registers for William Nelson and his two children as I am going to Norwich tomorrow. I'll write down the ref numbers and the district where the deaths took place. If anyone else wants a BMD lookup then please dont hesitate to ask me.

My library in Norwich holds the entire Civil registration Indexes from 1837 to 1999 on microfiche. Very good. Although I only found out about it recently, but I regularly go there and do research.

Hi I am willing to go to Hartlepool Library. They hold records for Hartelpool, West Hartlepool, Stranton, Seaton Carew, as well as a small amount for local area's. Once the kids go back to school I will have a lot more time, but at the moment I am a bit restricted through lack of babysitter (4year old boys don't have much patience!) Michelle

Library's often hold a lot of info in there ref. section...I posted an offer of graveyards look-ups in my area on a GRAVEYARD LOOKUPS THREAD on this board. Had two requests from members to search for a gravestone of their family lines. Before I went to the cemetry, called in my local Library, asked the assistant in the ref. section if there were any newspaper references for the names I was searching...She came up with about 20, ranging frm 1856 to 1945. She gave me a list of the issues they were in. Burials, Marriages, articles etc. Am going back to look at the articles and get coppies to send to the people concerned...Anybody else able to offer help in this way?
