Shirley, this is a very old thread from 2004 so I doubt that Dawn is still looking for details.

I have an Abraham isabel dying in Nelson in 1881 aged 70years old. He is the father or grandfather of my Elizabeth isabel who married John husband in tydwardheath approx 1863 I think.
They must have moved to nelson between 1871 and 1881. William isabel was maybe brother of my Elizabeth. Elizabeth then went on to marry a Thomas Hargreaves in Nelson
Kind regards
Shirley

Hi Dawn, not much use at moment, but 1841 census for Cornwall is 90% transcibed and searchable online at http://freecen(.)rootweb(.)com,there are no Isabel's ,but there are Isbell's at St.veep and Fowey(but no Abraham),they will probably be related. John
