ROSIE DENISE LOUISE Thankyou for your comments and support, Yes I do feel that I know a lot of them now and that is lovely. I have had trees opened to me with 1000s of names, none were asked for I might add , I have never requested anyone's tree and there were no connections to mine sadly. I cannot express my excitement every time I find someone new and I await the post eagerly for certificates. I wish you all happy , successful searching Lulli xx

Isn't it great. Do you feel like you know some of them, better than some of your 'living' branches? I do. Well Done finding so many in such a short time! Louise

What a wonderful story Lulli and I know exactly how you feel! I too have received help from some very kind people and am slowly building my family tree. You have done so well to have discovered 270 people already - far more than I have. Good luck in your continuing search and may you carry on enjoying it as much as I do. Indeed, what did we do before we discovered this 'hobby'. Rosie

Jan. 2007 was the first time in my my life and in my mid 70s. I had been near a computer and never tried to build a family tree altho' I have always been fascinated. I had been told growing up about my G Grandparents and they have always been a mystery in so far as solid facts are concerned. Stories told about ancestor can often be misleading altho' I'm sure well meant. However, armed with few details to go on I began my search and the exciting thing is ,I have now found all the details on my G Grandparents and all but 2 of their 22 children. Some of this has reduced me to tears at times, so many babies died soon after birth or as young children and one can just imagine the incredible heartache this must have caused !. I have now traced 270 of my relations, this I know will seem few compared to some trees I have seen but to me it has been an amazing , informative and fascinating journey which I would not have missed for the world. I am now back to the early 1700s and am totally addicted but all this has been possible with a lot of help from some very generous people on this site to whom I am extremely grateful. I just wanted to share my joy and say 'Thanks' to everyone who helped me....So far , I'm sure I will be asking again. Best wishes Lulli x
