thank you Janice and Mum of 2... Sorry for the delay to reply but just got home from work. I was just trying to connect somebody elses FREED tree to mine but not having much luck. Quite often gets mis-spelt. Will wait until he has more info for me. Thank you both GLoria |

Hiya BMD shows the following birth record: Lilian Freed 2Q 1899 Maidstone Vol 2a p824 You could send off for the certificate - they cost £7 each - and it would show father and mother name plus mother's maiden name, birthplace and residence of informant (usually one of the parents) A general search of BMD for Freed births in Maidstone 1900 +/- 5 yrs gives 24 hits so that probably means 5 or 6 families.... Hope this helps |

Maidstone-born children have Charles and Hannah with Charles and Constance George and Annie with George, Gladys and Dorothy Harry and Eliza with Emily, Thomas and William |
