Could this be your Rhoda Fuller? It's from the BVRI: Rhoda Fuller born 16 Jan.1840, christened 16 Feb.1840, Rotherfield, Sussex. Parents William Fuller & Harriet.

On the 1871 census that Sophie posted, the Pierceys are lodgers, a widowed father with 2 sons 3 daughters. The Winsers are also lodgers, a man & wife. George's wife Rhoda was born Waldron, Sussex.

The IGI on Familysearch has a George Venn born 1823, Portsmouth married to Rhoda ULN (just realized that stands for Unknown Last Name). There are 7 children listed bit it's a submitted record, so unreliable. Margaret

I need a birth look up for George Vane born 1823 in Portsmouth. I know he married Rhoda Fuller in 1863 but I am at a loss before then. I am having trouble finding him in the 1841, 1851 and 1861 census. Is anyone going to Portsmouth Record office?
