Karen, I haven't had time to do much searching, but your comment about the number of children........................... ............... my husband's gg grandmother had 20 children in 28 years. All singles. All survived .................although there is a family story that number 20 died and the parents had another baby to bring the number back to 20 lliving! I can't find any proof of that! So yes, it is possibly to have 17 children in 28 years. Poor woman!

Looking at all those children I think there is more than 1 family. Although it was common to have lots of kids this would make 16 over 28 years, was this possible? I have identified 7 of them on the list and 2 earlier ones which I had. If this is 1 family, all I can say is poor woman!

Do you mind if I re-do your heading? For clarity only!! Need To Get Through The Brick Wall Hello all, I am having trouble finding a very wierd family maybe someone could help. In various census I find they have various name spellings, this is making it very difficult. 1) Francis Larouche born British subject France b1827 Francis Larouche lived in Greenwich. Francis Larondie same details as both 2) Elizabeth Alice Larondie b1857 London Alice in the 1891 census Elchart in the 1881 census 3) Coloumb Delaney born Ireland 1853- Elizabeth and Coloumb were married in 1880 in westminster in 1901 3 Ivy Cottages Colonel Delaney in 1891 census living in Aldershot 1 Upton Cottages Calaub Delany in 1881 census living in Berwick 31 Little Putney St According to the marriage certificate Coloumbs father was Daniel (deceased at this time) Francis Coloumb and Elizabeth were all Tailors Up to now I have found 7 children Ada being my GGgrandmother. Possibly being the 2nd youngest. The eldest child Alice - 1 census says Alice born Ireland 1880 (couple of weeks after the wedding) 1 census says born london. They have a son named Colonel but this also could be a Colm Coloumb or another varient | have found for the Father. I cannot find any of these before 1871. And alot is conflicting info I do have a few certs but finding others is very difficult I hope I havnt bombarded too much info but just wondered if anyone could find any of these before 1871. Francis Coloumb or Elizabeth. Kaz (Sylvia)
