Has anyone any idea how I can find out when a German became a naturalised British Subject.1840/1870 Also how would I find records of a divorce early 1900s Thank You Margaret Alderson

Hi Margaret, Looks like the archives are held at the National Archives. A search by name or country. HO1,45,144 or 405 If you go onto the National Archives site.... then go to search...put in Naturalize the dates you want then one of the HO numbers I gave you, all very interesting. Unfortunately you will probably have to go the National Archives. Hope this all makes sense :-) Regards Vera
