Hi Jet, thankyou..im open to all info at the moment as its proving quite tough ....know they did stay in the Thornton area for generations ,centre-ing in the pinch beck area. believe Sutcliffe had a strange job as a alpacca/mohair weaver thanks again

This looks like her on the 1841 census: Ripping?, Thornton, Yorkshire Susey Binns, 35, worsted weaver Henery, 10, coal miner Hannah, 5 Sutcliffe, 2 All born in county. Henry, poor tyke, a coalminer at age 10!

hi there,please could anyone help me out with my Binns family. they originate in Thornton near bradford but im stuck..as its the school hols im stuck to armchair research so would appreciate any help at all. info i have at present........... Susannah Binns b.1807c Thornton. she died in Jan 1874 aged 67 at Pinch Beck. believe she had 4 possibly 5 children all born Thornton,dont think she ever married. dont know of her parents yet. Her Registered death is in pinch beck with w? garth present children of susannah; Henry Binns(my grtx4 grandad) b.1830c Thornton hannah?? Sutcliffe Leonard Binns 1840c Bernard Binns b.1842c Grace Binns 1840-44? c wondered if anyone may have Parish records that could help further my small info many thanks.x
