Hello Everyone, I have found the MARTIN family I have been looking for on the 1861 census but when I click on the image to find out where they lived and employment details,I cannot see them on the image. Are my eyes deciving me or is it the wrong image ? The family are as follows ;- CHARLES MARTIN B1826 LYDNEY SOMERSET head CHARLES MARTIN B1860 CAMBERWELL SURREY son ELIZABETH M MARTIN B1833 LONDON MIDDLESEX wife GEORGE MARTIN B1858 WELLINGTON SOMERSET son HARRIET E MARTIN B1856 WELLINGTON daughter ROSINA L MARTIN B1855 BRISTOL daughter They are living Camberwell ST Giles Surrey. If it is the wrong image,is it possible for anyone to find the correct image or point me in the right dirrection into finding it. Thank you, Kath |

Your eyes are OK.........the Ancestry link is completely wrong. The image you need is RG9/380/66/33 The result when one clicks on 'view image' is RG9/381/4/19. To add insult to injury.....it's all duplicated!! It would be worth contacting Ancestry, I think............. I've been checking some others, and it seems that virtually the whole of Camberwell has been completely messed up............ Reg |

Thanks Anita,I have put in a complaint to Ancestry but doubt I will get a response. Does anyone know how I can access the image using the RG9 reference that Reg gave me ?I have tried punching it into the bottom of the search page on 1861 Ancestry but it does not work. Thanks Kath |

There's no way, that I can see, to access the correct records..........until Ancestry put it right. Keep pestering them until you get some satisfaction............. Good luck Reg |
