I think for starters I will order the death cert of John W as area and age seem to tie up more accurately for this, and if it is the correct one, might throw up a bit more info. Julie, I had looked at the death for James that you found and also the 1891 in prison. Discounted the death because of age, but of course you can never be sure! The fact that it all seems to be coming up with occupation miner fits in. Think I'm more muddled than ever now!! Thanks for your help. Sue
