Found a marriage in Jun qtr 1917 Florence L Rouse spouse Pollington District Alverstoke Ref 2b 1163 That would then make the birth look possible. Steph

Have you seen this birth? Births Jun 1917 (>99%) Rouse Lilian Rouse Alverstoke 2b 760 Alverstoke was abolished in 1932 & succeeded by Gosport, you had 6 weeks to register a birth so her birth could have been registered in the second quarter of 1917. Georgina.

What are you looking for? Where have you looked?? The last census is 1901, so we can't look up her family. Doing a marriage or death search between 1917 and about 1983 means trawling through the Complete Index on ancestry, year by year, quarter by quarter. That's a long job!! Sylvia.

can't find lillian pollington or lillian rouse gosport 20/02/1917 anyone help please. Married name Wright. Thanks Her birthplace please. Her father and mother was George Pollington Florence Rouse can you find any record of Lillian's birth?? Thanks again Georgina. It's sure to be her .
