Thanks Mary - I'd be dangerous with half a brain cell! Thanks Jim, no wonder I'm getting lost with birth year so far out. I can't see there being two Thomas Quinneys marrying an Elizabeth Dillam and the area fits in with a lot of other family details. Thanks to you all for using your time to help me, at least I've got some info to sift through and I might get a bit more sleep now! Sue

Thanks Jet I'd seen the first one and wondered if it could be him and the John 50 was a brother. I think that was the 1841 Census wasn't it? The second one I hadn't seen but that looks like Elizabeths hubby would be Richard aged 50 - where was this info from? Could they be his parents? Do you know what the Mo after Betsys name means - I haven't noticed that on anything before? Thanks I really appreciate this, I hate having to ask for help or take anyones time up. Sue

Hi I am struggling to find any parents and grandparents of Thomas Quinney c1780. There's quite a few Thomas Quinneys and I'm not sure if I'm going up the correct branch. I've just come to a dead end and was hoping to find something for a family reunion on Tuesday. He was married to Elizabeth Dillam, children Joseph 1799 Foleshill, Mary c1805 and John c1798. Elizabeth was born in Bilton, Warks. Is there anyone out there with more experience than me to point me in the right direction please? Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks
