Could I have a look up please (if anyones got a spare minute)? Im trying to establish the wherabouts of Gentina/Gentila Roberts, in the Bridgend area of Wales. She may possibly have been with her mother Mary Ann. x

You haven't given a date but have you tried historical directories online? Janice

Sorry Janice had to pop out. Have googled, but cant see anything available online. The ladys birth isnt on BMD but she was born c1890. Any date would do me, by 1920 she was Gentila Price, her husband was Percy. x

I believe that Kelly's lists only the head of each household........ Have you found them in 1891/1901 censuses? Reg

Oh, I hadnt realised! Typical, lol. No, shes not on the 1891 or 1901, and she should be! But they were a Romany family, so records very hit and miss. She had her kids births reg'd, but her marriage doesnt seem to be there. My gran avoids the questions in a subtle way, lol.
