Having problems finding 1st husband of my mother, born in c1915- 1943 , His name i have just discovered was Jac (in welsh) but john(in english) but was known as jack. my mother when she was alive told me he was burried in Dolgethly(now spelt dollgetluu. and died in 1943 from a rare cattle disese ,that his job was a cattle inspector for gov in london. .my mothers ashes are meant to be with him , Last week my wife and i went to Dolgethluu to find the grave with no luck, we checked out the liabry there that has a new family history centre checked all burrial records and he is not listed ,checked the census from 1938 but still no sign, the only perry,s showing up for that parrish were in LLwyngwril, and merioneth nr Barmouth wales . the person entrusted with taking my mothers ashes to grave has scince disapeered . so have now no idea where she is at rest. From stories my mother told me he had family in wales his mothers first name was muthy(pronounced we think Mwfannwe. that his father was either fred or frank. and that the father came from the midlands the mother from dollgethluu area in late 1800,s any help would be very much appreciated

checked the census from 1938 - how and where??? you need to get their marriage cert, and asscertain his age.

checked these records at the local liabry at dollgethluu they hold the records ,parish ect for the are plus the 1938-43 census.

yes that would be good only i cant find one, this is why , i not sure if my mother was married to him ,or wether she was his common-law-wife?

This looks to be the district. No death registered for John Perry in Dolgelley in 1943. However, as a cattle inspector, he probably travelled around, and may have died in another area. You need to obtain the marriage cert, to find out his age, then you can search more accurately for his death. If the disease which killed him was 'rare', perhaps he was cremated, for hygiene reasons.
