Reg Good idea, I have never been to my local LDS centre even though it is in the same town where I live, the opening hours are not great as I work. But have two weeks holiday soon so will make it my mission to go there. Thanks for that idea, would never of even crossed my mind. Joanna

Your local LDS centre may be able to order the film from which the marriage record was taken.........if Elizabeth's father was known, his name may be on there. Reg

Reg I have had a brief look for the death but nothing coming up as obviously her. As I say she is living in 1841 with Son-in-law and daughter in Tollard Royal and it says she is age 65 years old. But cant find any death that looks likely, even more difficult as I am not certain of the exact surname spelling. Joanna

You could look for Sarah's death and buy the cert.....it would say 'widow of........' (assuming she had been married) Reg

Margaret Thanks for looking, yeah its frustrating, if I just knew Elizabeth's father name could look for a marriage to a Sarah, but only have mother's name. Am assuming that as they married in Tollard Royal and lived there all there lives, that Elizabeth must of been born there as Thomas was definitley born in Cranborne, Dorset. Marriages tended to be in woman's home town. Thanks for the look up Margaret Joanna

Hi again Joanna, The marriage of Thomas Prince and Elizabeth Levey isn't on BVRI so can't get a father's name there. The closest birth is this one, I don't know, name is wrong, place is wrong, the only thing right is mother's name Sarah. Eliza Levy christened 9 Mar. 1828, Shalbourn, Wiltshire. Parents John Levy & Sarah. Update, duh, just realized it's really wrong, she would have been 3 when she married. I tried!

I am wondering if anyone can help further I have Elizabeth Levey marrying Thomas Prince 25/05/1831 Tollard Royal. But I am trying to find out more about Elizabeth and her family. I believe she was born in Tollard Royal, Wiltshire. I believe that her Mother was called Sarah Levy as she was living with them in Tollard Royal in 1841 Cenus, but other then this have no leads on finding Elizabeth or family. Does she have any siblings?? I just dont know any help please greatfully received. Thanks Joanna
