Would any of these be on Ancestry.com? Trying to find passengers in the 1930s. My grandfather disappeared from Ireland in 1930s and no-one knows where he went. He was thrown out of Canada in early 30s so i dont think he went there again. Mark

Mark, If you can give more details, name, dob etc it will help people try to locate your grandfather. You can search the Australian National Archives for him on http://naa12(.)naa(.)gov(.)au/ In case he decided to revisit Canada you can search immigration records on line 1925-1935 on http://www(.)collectionscanada(.)ca/archivianet/02011802_e(.)html Helen

Sorry, His real birth name was ISAAC SYLVESTER O'DONNELL. This is the name he used to go to Canada in 1928 and on his 1904 birth certificate in Tuam, Galway, Ireland. When he married his 1st wife he used Sylvester O'Donnell. When he married my gran he called himself James O'Donnell. At school he had the nickname Toddy O'Donnell. All this was before he was even 35!!! Mark
