COULD ANYONE DO AN 1871 CENSUS LOOK UP FOR A JOSEPH LEWIS BORN ABOUT 1825 IN WOLVERHAMPTON STAFFORDSHIRE. HE IS PROBABLY AN INMATE IN A WORKHOUSE AS HE WAS IN THE 1881 CENSUS, I KNOW HE IS NOT LIVING WITH HIS WIFE MARIA. HIS OCCUPATION WAS SHOE MAKER OR HE MAY BE LISTED AS CORDWINDER. |

Oo er! The only one coming up in 1871 is a journeyman shoemaker with wife Ann! He is Staffordshire born (Dudley) and she is Gloucestershire born (Blakeney). Wrong one or 2 wives? Janice |
