COULD ANYONE DO AN 1871 CENSUS LOOK UP FOR A JOSEPH LEWIS BORN ABOUT 1825 IN WOLVERHAMPTON STAFFORDSHIRE. HE IS PROBABLY AN INMATE IN A WORKHOUSE AS HE WAS IN THE 1881 CENSUS, I KNOW HE IS NOT LIVING WITH HIS WIFE MARIA. HIS OCCUPATION WAS SHOE MAKER OR HE MAY BE LISTED AS CORDWINDER.

Oo er! The only one coming up in 1871 is a journeyman shoemaker with wife Ann! He is Staffordshire born (Dudley) and she is Gloucestershire born (Blakeney). Wrong one or 2 wives? Janice
