Member Since: October 2005 Posts: 10 Send Message	hi Ron my grandfather name George Richard Burfoot who lived at 77 Seylla road Nunshead he was also a carman who married Annie Alice Alsford who lived in Whetstone rd Blackheath sth London thier daughter was known as Tilly and they had two sons George who lived in Porteshead Bristol and my father Leonard Alfred who married Jane Annie Jarmain of Peckham my family were evaculated to Leicester during the war hope this is useful goodluck james

Member Since: May 2006 Posts: 7 Send Message	I am trying to find the marriage of my mother's parents. Her mother was Mabel Elizabeth Parsons b1890-Brighton. My mother's maiden name was Mabel Elizabeth Violet Burfoot b1914 at the General lying in Hospital York Road, Lambeth. According to her Birth Certificate her father was Walter Henry Burfoot, a Carman, of 31, Rockingham St. Southwark. My mother also had an older brother George and a sister Doris. My grandmother lived for many years in Coldharbour Lane Camberwell until her death in 1970.
