Member Since: May 2006 Posts: 4 Send Message	Trying to find further information of my Grandfather Thomas Smitham born abt 1897 in the Whitehaven area Cumbria,married to Esther Ryan born in LLandudno 1900 ; Thomas's Brother was Mathew born 1896 they might have had connections to Smithams in the whitehaven area who ran a public house not sure : Thomas may of been an orphan and brought up by other family members any information would be a great help Danny Lim nee Smitham
