Trying to find Steers

I am looking for information on the Steers family from Leverstock Green, Hertfordshire My grandfather Ernest John (Jack) Steers was born in 1899 and had 2 sisters: Lillie (Ciss) born 1900 who married Percy Biggerstaff and lived in Kings Langley; Jessie born 1910 who married James Thompson. Jack also had a brother Albert Victor Steers born 1903 who married Lou and had 2 children Bill and Joan; they lived in Westwick Row Leverstock Green before moving to Bedmond – I would like to make contact with anyone who knew them. My great grandfather John Steers was born in 1863. He married Lillie Reeve who came from Tring. I have not been able to find any information about what happened to John other than that he was, at different times, a police sergeant and a traction engine driver. He died in the 1930s - no-one seems to know where – so I’m very curious to find out what happened to him. Many thanks. Linda |
