HI ALL,I WAS WONDERING IF THERE WAS ANYBODY OUT THERE THAT WOULD BE ABLE TO SHED SOME LIGHT ON THE PARENTS OF JESSIE THOMPSON,SHE WAS MADE A WARD OF THE STATE IN 1902 IN SYDNEY,I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HER MOTHER,I HAVE DUG UP SOME PAPERS ON THE BENEVOLENT SOCIETY WHERE SHE WAS PUT IN,AND THE PAPERS SAID THAT HER FATHER WAS JOHN WHITEMAN,AND SAID THAT THE MOTHER WAS UNABLE TO SUPPORT.SHE WAS RAISED BY A GRACE MCFARLANE IN GUILDFORD,SYDNEY.WHO'S MARRIED NAME WAS MCCONNELL.SHE ALSO HAD HER OWN CHILDREN.SO ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
